I found a spare time yesterday to read some BESTSELLING BOOKS of 2013 :) Gotta first with this book, Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan.
Actually, though it's written that it's a novel, at first I thought it's a some kind of 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' thing.
And a lot of people, especially the women , is rushing to every bookstore just to find a copy of this book.
So with my killing curiosity, I read the book. :)
So there is a lover, Nick Young and Rachel Chu. And the whole story is all about money :) ( I wish I'm one of them .haha!) Aside from all of the character is a Chinese, It turns out that the humble Nick is one of the heir to some kind of Dynasty of Youngs' and Shangs'. As for the drama, Nick's mom, Eleanor, doesn't like Rachel. Well just because Rachel is "not one of them". Oh ! money , money and riches is all issue here :) So Eleanor made a background investigation and find something fishy (yeah something fishy ! LOL! ) about Rachel's private life. But as what the saying goes, Love conquers all. So tsaran! They end up, still, as lover. :)
Well, honestly, I always read a book and jot notes for my review. But this is the first time I'll post it on the worldwideweb :) And from nor on, I'll constantly post a book review! YEY! One of my resolution for 2014! Wohoo!
