WHO IS LANG LEAV ?

Well Lang Leav is a celebrated artist/poet who made her book, 'Love and Misadventure', talk of the town, or should I say, talk of the whole world :) .

Finally! I can see her na! YEY!!! I really love Fullybooked!

She'll be here on February 7-9, 2014 to do the book signing and poetry reading!. What a perfect treat for valentines!  I'm so glad I'm part of Fullybooked. It's just, OmG ! hahaha! I'm speechless yet super excited!

LUNCH WITH LANG LEAV CONTEST
Share one of your poems with us and get a chance to have lunch with Lang Leav!

1. Email one (1) poem to lucyscontests@fullybookedonline.com, with your full name, contact number and age.
2. Type “LUNCH WITH LANG LEAV” as the subject line of the email.
3. One (1) poem submission can be made per email. An interested person can email up to three (3) different poems to enter the contest. These must be emailed individually.
4. You will receive a confirmation email that your entry was received.
5. Deadline for entries is at 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 23, 2014.
6. The winners will be informed on Monday, February 3, 2014.
7. Lunch with Lang Leav is scheduled on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 12:00 nn in Bonifacio High Street.


BOOK SIGNING GUIDELINES

Pre-Registration Mechanics:
1. Customers who want to have their books signed by Lang Leav need to register before the book signing event. Please see the corresponding registration opening times:
 a. Ateneo de Manila University signing, February 7, 2014 – 2:30 pm, before the talk
 b. Bonifacio High Street signing, February 8, 2014 – 10:00 am
 c. Alabang Town Center signing, February 9, 2014 – 10:00 am
2. Customers can have as many copies of the book, Love & Misadventure signed. For every two (2) copies of the book, one (1) should have been purchased from Fully Booked. Customers can present an original receipt or an item with a Fully Booked price tag upon registration.
3. After inspection of items, the customer will be given a numbered stub. This stub needs to be presented at the book signing line. If the customer loses the stub, he/she will have to register again for a new number.
4. Only one (1) stub can be given per customer during pre-registration.
5. Fully Booked may limit the number of available stubs per book signing in order to end as stated in the schedule.

Actual Book Signing:
1. Customers may fall in line right away or wait for their stub numbers to be called.
2. The start of the book signing will be announced ten (10) minutes beforehand to give customers time to line up.
3. If a customer is not present when his/her number is up, he/she forfeits his/her place and must line up for a new number.
4. Customers will be asked to print their name legibly on a sheet of paper to facilitate quicker book signing.

HOW TO GET TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN) ID

Tax Identification Number ID a.k.a. TIN ID is a must to everyone who works and earn money. Syempre! Nagbabayad kaya tayo ng tax! :D But please make sure you have an existing TIN before you can apply for TIN ID. IF ever wala ka pang TIN, CLICK MO LANG TO. Just fill out the necessary details and then presto! May TIN kana! (I'm pertatining to the number ok :D )

Then now you can apply for an ID ! Ang good news dito, LIBRE! Whoohoo! 

NOTE: IF you got your TIN # through your employer, you should ask what BIR Office naka register ang company nyo. OR You can simply ask the RDO. (don't know exactly what is the meaning of RDO . lol.)
You can only apply for TIN ID kung saan  ka nakaregister . Unless you update your record and transfer your RDO, dun ka sa  bago. Just like JC, since nilipat nya ang RDO nya sa taguig,as per his new employer, he needs to apply in BIR Taguig. Well, when I got mine, BIR Makati, it took only less 5 minutes. IDK why BIR Taguig takes 1 week to release such ID. Mind you guys, yellow paper lang sya. You need to provide the picture and of course, lamination. SO I'm wondering.. naubusan ba sila ng ink at papel or tamad lang sila mag print ? :D

 IMPORTANT NOTE:

You must have only ONE TIN for life. If you already had your Tax Identification Number and just forgot it, you may retrieve it by going to the BIR office. Securing more than one TIN is criminally punishable pursuant to the provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997, as amended.

HOW TO KNOW THE STATUS OF YOUR VOTERS ID OR COMELEC ID

ID's is very important in everyone's lives! Everyday yata kailangan ng ID ! So I decided to make some tips/ways on how to get 'some' ID :D

My first goal is VOTERS ID :D

As I browse the net, I found out this easy way to know if your ID is already printed !
(NOTE: If you are a first timer, please wag umasang meron ka ng ID)

Go to this site ,COMELEC ID, to know if you our lucky enough to have your VOTERS ID !

You'll see this

Just click the "Continue to Precinct Finder Form". Then you'll see this form. Just fill up the necessary details .
Click search!

And finally! Just look for the Status of ID Printing. Mine said that it was printed last Aug. 3, 2012! But to make sure, I called Comelec Makati office. Thanks to yellow pages I got their number :). And lo! I have an ID na ! :D

BOOK REVIEW: CRAZY RICH ASIAN

I found a spare time yesterday to read some BESTSELLING BOOKS of  2013 :)  Gotta first with this book, Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan.


Actually, though it's written that it's a novel, at first I thought it's a some kind of 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad' thing.
And a lot of people, especially the women , is rushing to every bookstore just to find a copy of this book.
So with my killing curiosity, I read the book. :)


So there is a lover, Nick Young and Rachel Chu. And the whole story is all about money :) ( I wish I'm one of them .haha!) Aside from all of the character is a Chinese, It turns out that the humble Nick is one of the heir to some kind of Dynasty of Youngs' and Shangs'. As for the drama, Nick's mom, Eleanor, doesn't like Rachel. Well just because Rachel is "not one of them". Oh ! money , money  and riches is all issue here :) So Eleanor made a background investigation and find something fishy (yeah something fishy ! LOL! ) about Rachel's private life. But as what the saying goes, Love conquers all. So tsaran! They end up, still, as lover. :)

Well, honestly, I always read a book and jot notes for my review. But this is the first time I'll post it on the worldwideweb :) And from nor on, I'll constantly post a book review! YEY! One of my resolution for 2014! Wohoo!

CUPCAKES ARE THE NEW BLACK

For the love of cupcakes, tsaran! Cupcakes are the new black  is my very first article for foods! .
Who can say 'no' to a cupcake? Just to satisfy your own cravings to a wedding center piece, cupcakes is a main treat! With a lot of shops popping up, selling this cute mini-cake is surely a hit!

Well, I just  wanna share my favorite cupcakes(well even cakes, I'll try to update later, ) :)

Upon watching TLC DC Cupcakes and spotted that they already produce a book recipes, I rushed to my favorite bookstore to find some cookbook on how was cupcake made. From simple mini-cake to fabulous, delicious and luscious cupcakes! Awesome! Now , I plan to make my own cupcakes! hahaha. I wish I have enough time to do that :)

I'm a girl who loves to read a books, loves to eat sweets, loves to go somewhere and loves to share! I really want to write something from what I saw, learned,or even my tantrums!
